I am researching the LeCroy surname. Often found as Lucray, Lucroy, or even Roy- most of my ancestors have been concentrated in Ga during the 1800's in Habersham Co. Earlier ties to SC during the 1700's seem promising (Luke or Lucas Lecroy and John Lecroy- born in the mid-1700's in SC) My earliest documented ancestor is Thomas Lecroy b. 1815 in SC or Ga, married to Lydia A. McCracken on Jul 26, 1838. His Son, William K. Lecroy (b. 1846) was my GG Grandfather. Wilkerson Thomas LeCroy (b. 1871) was my G grandfather, and Charles R. LeCroy Sr. is my Grandfather. I have plenty of unmatched data from other Lecroys that I will be glad to share if you are interested! Thanks!
