HERE WE ARE JUST YOU AND ME, LEAVES UPON OUR FAMILY TREE SEASONS COME AND SEASONS GO,
A LEAF WILL FALL, BUT THIS WE KNOW NEW ONES GROW FROM DAY TO DAY, TO REPLACE THE ONES THAT HAVE GONE AWAY YET NO LEAF GONE WILL EVER BE,
FORGOTTEN UPON THIS FAMILY TREE FOR ALL THOSE FALLEN TO THE GROUND, HAVE MADE OUR ROOTS STRONG AND SOUND SO WHEN ALL TIME IS OVER AND DONE,
THE MASTER GARDNER WILL GATHER AS ONE EVERY LEAF THAT HAS EVER GROWN, EVERY ROOT THAT WAS EVER SOWN EVERY ONE THAT WILL EVER BE, UPON THE LOVING ARMS OF THIS FAMILY TREE.

- Photo of Ben & Sallie Cooper-2003 (423 KB)
This photo was taken at the Annual "COOPER CHRISTMAS" Eve dinner where everyone gathered together for a dinner and then bags of candy for every child were then handed out by Ben & Sallie.Every child looks forward to this event every year. Ben started this family event about 40 yrs. ago and continued every year, and never missed one single year, until he passed away in 2003 in which his wife Sallie and son Bishop have made sure to carry on this family tradition. The excitement, smiles and happiness the bags brought to each child, is what inspired Ben to start this tradition, and the joy it brought to the children was a gift in it's self to Ben, that money could not buy.
