Thompson - relating to George Washington Thompson (1766-1841) son of Samuel Thompson and Ann Jennings. Specifically looking to tie in a potential granddaughter, Rebecca Thompson who married James Fitzgerald Stone about 1838. Rebecca was born 1822. Who were her parents? Was her father a son of G. W. Thompson? She named a son George Washington Stone. Chaytor/Fitzpatrick - Louisa Chaytor (1836-1920) married Richard Clark Mason in Baltimore, MD in 1853. Her parents were Charles and Katherine (Fitzpatrick) Chaytor. What is the ancestry of these parents? Is there a connection with Capt. James Chaytor of Baltimore? Foxwell/Evans - Charles Layton Foxwell (b abt 1799) married Eliza G. Evans (1814-1887) and resided in Baltimore, MD. His family was from Dorchester County, MD. But does anyone know more about Eliza's parents, Thomas & Barbara (Greves) Evans who lived in Baltimore? Why was Eliza buried without a marker, especially since her brother Davis was a Reverend? Craggs - Mary Ann Wesley Craggs married Richard Mason in 1828 in Baltimore, MD. Who were her parents? Her children were John Craggs, Richard Clark, Margaret Lydia, William Atkinson, Elizabeth, Mary Ann Wesley, Frances Adeline, Emeline Carter, Josephine, and Ida. Stokes - Allen Young Stokes (1819-1886) who married Margaret M. Pickett (1820-1901) is a well known name in Richmond, VA. But who were Allen's siblings? Were his parents definitely Sylvanus Stokes and Ann Gatewood of Caswell County, NC? Adams - relating to Robert Adams, first immigrant to America abt 1600 in Virginia. Looking for link between Robert Adams in America with Sir John Ap Adams (d. 1309) of Somersetshire, England, son of Charlton Adams. In 1291 Sir John married Elizabeth, daughter of John Lord Gourney of Beviston and Tidenham in Gloucestshire. LeCompte - relating to Anthony LeCompte, first immigrant to America abt 1654, residing in Dorchester County, Maryland.
