 Includes NotesNotes for Ole Olson:
[Johnson.FTW]

RESIDENCE AT TIME OF MARRIAGE: Lønhougen (Grue marriage records Page 50)

SOLIBERGET: (Ref. Grueboka Finnskoga Pages 117, 118)
The name of this place has been both Solliberget and Sollibråten. There was little at this place in the middle of the 1700's when Solia in Sander woods was cleared. Some place in Prestegardsskogen (church owned property) with that name is not found on the map from around 1790, but in the church record from 1794 it says that Jon Eriksen lived in Solien near Prestegarden. How one knows about this is uncertain.
Ole Olson 1821-1884 from south Lønnhaugen near Sander was married the first time to Anne Andersdatter Øvergarden Rotneberget who lived from 1819 to 1856. They were here at least in 1853, but perhaps some years before and Ole cleared the land.
Children: Johanne born 1853 married in 1857 with servant boy Henrik Jonsen Rotneberget (from Gransjön in Östmark), moved to the middle of Østberget near Vålberget; Berte born 1855. [Ed. note: this is the only mention of grandmother Berte Olson in the Bydgebok. Two other older sisters, Oleana, born 1844 and Eli, born 1851 are not mentioned either but are shown in Grue birth records. Perhaps Ole and Anna lived elsewhere and there might have been other children in the seven year time span between 1844 and 1851].
The second time Ole Olson was married to Hermane Syversdatter, 1836-1905 from Østby near Møystad (Elsrud reference says that is where she died).
Children: Karen born 1858 (son Kolbjørn born 1881), she married Mathis P. Hårstad; Ole August born 1860; Elise born 1863 married 1883 with Thormund Elias Olsen from Ørskog in Sunnmøre, a teacher in Skasenden; Johannes born 1865 (datter Bertha born 1889) married Helga Marie Håkensdatter who went to America, then he married Elise Henriksdatter Kvernmoen, then moved to Bekkeli; Tolline born 1869; Søren lived 1872 to 1875; Søine born 1876 (son Johan Johansen born 1894 in Kristiania (Oslo), unmarried, lived near Kirkenær and died in Forkerud; Henrik born 1878 was married in 1898 with Thea Martinsdatter Nyhus, moved to north Lønnhaugen near Sander; Ole born and died 1881. [Ed. note: Thea Martinsdatter Nyhus was the grandmother of Kjell Ivar Wållberg, a half-second cousin who now lives in a new house on the Lønnhaugen farm, whom we met in the summer of 1997].
Ole Olson was a maker of wooden or wagon parts.
He took care of the planting and livestock in 1865 consisting of one cow, two sheep, 1/16 tønne (approx. 1 barrel or 4 bushels) rye and one tønne potatoes.
After this it is told that Ole and Hermanne moved from Solliberget to Sollibergsmyra near Sollibrukene. It is said that they failed to stay because they did not have the original documents. Ole died in 1884, but in the 1900 national census Hermane lived in Solliberget and also died there, disappointment causing her death in 1905.
Solliberget is now gone and overgrown with weeds
Kartbladet Sollitjernet (newspaper) map from 1987 has both Sollibergshjemmet and Myrastugga without houses. We compare this with lieutenant Grans map from 1886 and believe that the first occupant of the place, east or west Solien must be Sollibergsmyra or Solliberget.
Sollibergsmyra (Myrastugga) lay in the prestegardens woods (church woods and grounds) but a bare 50 meters from the border with Sander woods, north for Sollibrukene. Rudolph Bråten wrote about the farmstead in 1979 "They found no house, only the house grounds with oven heap of stones and a marsh at an opening of the woods that had been a hayfield. The rest was grown over.
