Maxine Faye Lee can trace her roots back to 1655 when Hosea Lee was born in England. "Hosea left England in 1671.
His Grandson, Gershom Lee II left Carrickfergus, Ireland on a ship "Kent" in 1714 as a coopers apprentice to America.
We can trace back 11 generations in the Lee Family Tree."

According to Maxine Lee's information Gershom Lee II traveled to America and he was the grandson of Hosea Lee. This
information is not consistent with what I have found, so far. All of the information I have gives Gershom B. Lee
(presumed the son of Hosea and not the grandson) traveled to America and married Mary Drake. I did think it
was interesting that he arrived on the ship - "Kent" in 1714. I have not confirmed this as of December 2001.
