Graves, Doris Mae Arceneaux A resident of Denham Springs for 54 years, she died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, at 5:30 p.m. at Summit Hospital in Baton Rouge. She was 77 and a native of Killian. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Thursday, Dec. 15, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting on Friday at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until service in the chapel at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Mickey Bounds. Burial in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jessie Graves of Denham Springs; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Sandra Graves of Baton Rouge; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy Graves Thurston and Jimmy Thurston of Denham Springs; grandchildren, Amy and husband Corey Delamar, Adam Chaney, Matthew and wife Jamie Chaney, and Amber Hughes and husband Chris Hughes; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Manchester, Lauren and Jessie Chaney, Olivia Chaney and Hailey Hughes; step-granddaughter, Ainsley Thurston; sister, Velda Young of Meadville, Miss.; brother, Leroy Arceneaux of Albany; and numerous nieces, nephews and loving family. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis N. Arceneaux; mother, Tothice Arceneaux Bercegeay; and seven brothers and sisters. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Denham Springs.
