Virginia Causey Reynolds Lee joined the DAR in 1920, and was a descendant of Capt. Theophilus Wilder (1740-1821). He was a member of the Committee of Safety and in 1776-80, commanded a company in the Massachusetts militia. He was born in Hingham, Mass.; died in Dennysville, Washington County, Maine. Virginia's DAR Number #154174. She was also a descendant of Andrew B. McCormick (1755-1797), born in Ulster Co., Ireland. His place of residence during the revolution was Lincoln County, North Carolina. He married Catherine Adams. Andrew B. McCormick was her third great grandfather.
