* "The Lefevre Family Home Page"*

Updated July 14, 2001

I am researching the Lefevre's, a Huguenot family that emigrated to England. My grt/grt/grt grandparents are Matthew & Martha Lefevre abt 1800. My grandfather, Henry James Lefevre, emigrated to Western Canada in the early 1900's and married Rose Amelia Holmes from Saint Giles Reading, Berks County.

My maternal roots include John Flinn & Henrietta Codd from Ireland who emigrated to Ontario, Canada in 1820 with the Scottish Lanark County Settlers, and Anthony Smith & Hannah Cummings from Pittington, Durham County, England who emigrated to Turnbury Twp, Huron County, Ontario.

I am also researching my wife's family roots including the Chambers from Western Canada, the Fowlers from New Brunswick, the John Coder & Elizabeth Jane Pringle descendants from Pennsylvania, the ancestors of Daniel Bell & Harriet Farnam from Huron County Ontario, and John Allan Farnham a United Empire Loyalist who settled in Leeds County, Ontario in 1776.

I dedicate this project to my mother, Rose Marie Smith (b: Mar 1, 1919, d: Nov 23, 1998) who inspired me with her collection of family names, memoirs, newspaper announcements, obituaries and family photos.
