Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

This is the home page of The Lehrer Family. Originally the family came from Krakov, Poland, moved to Holland and then to Belgium. In 1940, most of the family escaped the German invasion of Belgium and fled to England.

If you want to add information to the family tree, please contact me - you will see details in the margin. I want names and dates of birth marriage and death of anyone directly connected to this family.

In particular, I want to establish the link to Rebbi Reb Heschel. We know that the Lehrers are "direct descendants" of this 17th century rabbi, but the link cannot be established exactly. If anyone has more information, please do share it.
