Tecza The Tecza family comes from Tomaszowice/Sygly, Poland. Family members have emmigrated to Toronto, Canada and in New Jersey, USA. The New Jersey Tecza's use the spelling Tencza. The part of Poland that the Tecza family came from is now the Ukraine. The follwing Polish towns with Tecza's are now in the Ukraine: Kalusz (Kalush in Ukrainian), Wojnilow, Martynow, Stanislau (or Stanislawow), and Tlumacz. Earlier generations of the Tecza family were known to have come from the Kolbuszowa area. Family can still be found in Bydgoszcz, Poland, near Szubin. Family surnames include: Borowiec, Bortkiewicz, Czyz, Filipek, Firlej, Furtak, Glogiewicz, Gozdzik, Grebowiec, Kaminski, Kraska, Kukla, Kusz, Lamparski, Owczarczyk, Rusnak, Rzucidlo, Sudol, Tomczyk, Weresniak. Bauer The Bauer family comes from Krole Male, Poland arriving from Bavaria in 1795. The village of Konazewo is named after the Konarzewski family, who once owned all the land in that area. Konazewo is located outside Ostrow-Mazowieckie. Family is known to have lived in Swierze, Ruskoleki Nowe, Pechratka Mala, and Jasienica. Most Bauer's were married in Sn. Roha Church in Jasienica. Family members have emmigrated to Toronto, Canada. Family can still be found in Ostrow-Mazowieckie and Krole Male. The Bauer family tree also includes the Zebrowski and Tyl families from the same area. IN SEARCH OF...... ADAM & ANIELA BAUER - Adam and his wife Aniela live in Philadelphia, PA. They had Czeslawa (Tessie), Matthew and Alfred. Where are these children now? BAUER'S OF AUSTRALIA - Looking for the descendants of Andrzej Bauer and Irena Konarzewski. They had 2 daughters and 2 sons. One son, Marian Bauer, had two sons, both of whom moved to Australia.
