Christian Cearhs, John Cearhs, and Frederick Cearhs this day came into court and severally made applications to to be admitted citizens of the United States.. And it appearing(?) to the court from the oath of Thomas Weston, a citizen, that said applicants had arrived in the United States at least three years prior to their arriving at the age of twenty-one years, that they had severally resided in the United States for five years (last past(?)) the last year therof in the state that during all that time they have behaved as men of good moral character, attached(?) to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and will disf????? Towards the good order and happiness(?) of the same – the court order that said applicants be admitted citizens upon taking the oaths foreascribed(?) by law, which were thereupon(?) adminstered.
