"Parish records of the Kasermanns exist in Leuzigen, Limpach, and Batterkinden (17), three villages that could be covered by a circle with a five mile radius. The earliest records are those of Urs b.1533 in Leuzigen, and Hans born about 1536, Hans had two children but there is no futher record of them or of there father. The remainder of the records (about 60 pages) all concern decendants of Urs".
