| I am currently beginning the compilation of our family tree. Although it seems a daunting task it also appears to be very interesting. Hopefully any of you who have information that I can use, especially if you are from the Leitch or Magrath families, please be kind enough to send it on to me. The families seem to be concentrated around the Massachusetts area, at least until the early to mid 1930s. After that we seem to have scattered like most other American families. I believe my paternal grandmother, Grace Leitch (Sowerbutts) did this research years ago but all of her work was lost after her death. It seems to have become my project now. This time it won't get lost. More later as I delve deeper into this. ===al |
