Lemons and Thompsons of South Central Ohio
| This research has been ongoing for over 10 years.The Tree is taking shape.My goal for building this Tree is to have proof and sources for all individuals listed.This will prevent other researchers referencing my Tree from going after bad or false leads.I have experienced this and it creates a good deal of frustration. My family has lived in the South Central part of Ohio for almost 200 years.Mostly in Ross, Hocking and Pickaway Counties.I am the only Lemon male to move out of Ohio in all that time.I spent 16 years in Oregon and returned to Ohio in 2000.I left a son and daughter in Oregon and it looks like the family will have two locations now. It is strange that the male line of the family has survived with just one male in each generation producing offspring since 1829.I have two sons and two grandsons and am hoping for more.This means the family will finally branch and hopefully grow more numerous.
