Notes for Peter ALLEBACH: NUMB 1523 DATE 22 APR 1993 ATTR REPORT AFN E WOLF (WOLF) Peter lived in Colebrookdale township, Berks county, Pennsylvania (Boyertown area) and was on the tax list there in 1767 with 200 acres, and again in 1768, but with only 70 acres. Beginning 1779, he was listed with 140 acres. In 1782, he is mentioned in the STAUFFER diary, showing that he was still living then. In 1784, "widow ALLEBACH" is on the Colebrookdale tax list with the same number of acres previously owned by Peter. The 1784 tax list is also a census list, and widow ALLEBACH was listed with three persons in her family. She is not in the census of 1790, so she may have died or remarried. From Peter's will: I will "To my son Jacob, my plantation in Colebrookdale where I now live containing 147 acres; when he is 21.
