CARROLL, RATLIFF, BARTLEY, ADAMS, COOK, BAILEY, LAMBERT, LENNARD, MILLS, SAVAGE
I am searching for the above surnames in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, West Virginia.
Patrick Bartley appears in the 1850 & 1860 Georgia census but doesn't appear after that. He lists his place of birth as Ireland. I am having a difficult time finding his port of entry. There is one Patrick Bartley who arrived in Detroit in 1844 but my Patrick Bartley was married in Georgia in 1841 so I'm not sure if that is him. He lived in Richmond Co. Augusta, GA. His granddaughter, Carrie Carroll married James L. Ratliff in Florida and she was my grandmother.
The other surnames are from my father's family and my husband's. I am very early in their research so any info would help.
