Marriage of Lacy Hattaway and Elizabeth Teal
, February 12, 1825, Jasper Co., GA. No other Hattaways were married in Jasper Co., GA between 1808-1850.
The other Teals who married in Jasper Co., GA 1808-1850 were:

Henry Teal m. Patsy Young 7/6/1815,
Calvin Teal m. Sally Spence 6/7/1815,
Lewry Teal m. Simeon Motte 9/8/1824,

The parents of Lewry, Penny, and Elizabeth are not known but Calvin and Henry were the sons of Loderick Teal; Bradberry was their first cousin, being the son of Loderick Teal's brother, Bradberry Teal Sr.

Lacy Hattaway was granted 40 acres in Cherokee Co., GA, Section , District , Tract .

January 07, 1834: George Teal deeded 202 1/2 acres of land in Campbell Co., GA to Lacy Hattaway, whose relation is not known. Lacy's wife's maiden name was Elizabeth Teal. The deed was witnessed by a Meshack Teal, but not Lacy's son-in-law by the same name, who would have been about 14 years old at this time.

Haterway (spelled incorrectly), Lacy, age 62, real estate valued at $6,000, personal property valued at $100, born in NC
Elizabeth, age 67, born in NC
Eliza Ann, age 17, born in GA.
Note: Living immediately next door to Lacy was his son, David Hataway.
Note: 1998 value of 1860 $6,000 is $257,400

Campbell Co., GA Deed Book "G", pages 176-177, August 25, 1868. After Lacy's death, Elizabeth received part of lot , 42 1/2 acres in NW corner of lot , 47 1/2 acres south of line in lot , 40 acres in southeast corner of lot , and 52 1/2 acres in the south line.
