1856: Meshack Teal was the last person hung in Campbell Co., GA. He was hung for shooting Robert Northcutt, which may have been by accident. Naomi's whereabouts after his death are still unknown although it appears that at least some of her children moved to Alabama. Naomi must have died before her mother, Elizabeth (Teal) Hattaway, in 1884 since her inheritance is divided amongst her children.
