James, the 2nd son of Felix and Susan (Cook) Cochran, married Mittie Tarrance in 1889. They became the parents of Ima (Cochran) Turner & Allie (Cochran) Hataway before dying at a young age (Mittie before age 20; Jim probably before age 30).
