I have been trying to find information on my paternal grandfather John Morson born Sept.2 1870 in England.He had 2 brothers and one sister named Sarah. His natural parents surname was Parsons. Their father was John Parsons and mother's maiden name was Mary Morson. When their parents died they were placed in the Aston Work House (orphanage) We presume from there they must have went to live with a relative of the mother and assumed the Morson name. I think he came from around the Coventry area in England but this isn't a certainty.
My grandfather John Morson married Edith Smithurst who was born on April 5 1880 and I think she came from Chellaston England. My father Fred Morson was born in Coventry England October 29 1905.
I would appreciate any information on the Parsons, Morson or Smithurst names. I will share any information I have.
