I am researching the family of Jean-Baptiste LeRiche who arrived in Quebec, Canada about 1668. He settled in Montreal, Canada and married on August 25, 1701. He was, according to Druin, a military surgeon. Also in the LeRiche family tree are two soldiers from the elite military unit called the Carignan Regiment (Etienne Charles and Andre Poutre)who married, in 1667, two "filles du roi" or daughters of King Louis XIV (Madeleine Niel and Jeanne Burel, both of Normandy, France).

Also being researched on my maternal side of the family are the families of George H. Haynes, married to Matilda J. Fowler on April 1, 1874 in King County, New Brunswick, Canada and John Thomas Johnston married to Hannie Matilda Haynes on March 17, 1924. Both were born in New Brunswick, Canada on October 2, 1867 and November 7, 1889, respectively.
