The Benjamin Barker Home page

Welcome to this Barker page. Surnames in this family are Johnson, Harland, Popst, Jaccaz, Pichon, Arvin-Berod, Burnet-Merlin, Chabord, Rimboud, Baudron, Bush and Muller. The most distant Barker relative I have identified is Benjamin Barker who married Phebe Johnson January 4, 1798 and lived in New England. The most distant Jaccaz relative was born Sept. 17, 1748 in France near the Alps. The French side of the family emigrated to America in 1913, through Ellis Island, on a train to Butte, Montana. I have yet to discover when the Barker side arrived in America. The Muller side emigrated from Germany in the 1800's (Charles and wife). He declared his intention to become a citizen in 1890 in Wyoming. However, two of his children were born in Minn in the late 1880's.
