| This page is dedicated to the memory of my mother, Juliet Quiggins Jackson. She encouraged study in all forms, and she was the catalyst for my interest to carry on the knowledge of my family's origins. Much of what is here was compiled by her in her typically tedious and very accurate handwriting and is kept as precious memory of her dedication to us, THE LEWISES, and to her husband, John South Lewis. She and Daddy started our family reunion in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, about 30 years ago, and each June, upwards of 45 meet there. |
