The Liddells and Millicans

My family extends to William Liddell, 1767, Scotland with relations to the famous Scot Eric Henry Liddell of "Chariots of Fire". The Liddells of my line settled in Nova Scotia and PEI, Canada. Other family names connected to the Liddell line include: Meredith, Swabey, McFarlane, Strachan and Maiklum.

I am also researching the Millican line which extends to William Millican, 1762, Northern Ireland. The Millicans of my line settled in New Bruswick, Canada. Other family names connected to the Millican line include: VanBuskirk, Whelpley, Kerr, Howard, Gorham and Howland.
