Little is known about the Liddy side of the family. John Liddy emigrated Ireland. Married Mary Ann Carr in July 1872 in Ft. Wayne MI. He was in the calavary and stationed at Ft Randall, SD. Later homesteaded in O'Neill, Nebraska. Thier son, Thomas married Goldie Lansworth and made their home in O'Neill. The Lansworth emigrated from Norway. Decendants of John Landsverk. Goldie"s mother was Anna Engebretson. Her family also from Norway. Information I have on the Pharris family dates back to James who was born in Canton Fulton Co. Ill in 1829 and later settled in Superior, NE. My gandfather was John Henry Pharris. Surnames in this family include: Merritt and Gard (Garde) dating back to 1589. John Pharris was married to Elizabeth Christensen. Her parents emigrated from Denmark. |
