Biographical Review - The Leading Citizens of Delaware County, NY, 433, Thomas Liddle was a native of Scotland, who emigrated to this country in his youth, and settled in Bovina, where he bought a tract of about four hundred acres of land. He here married Miss Margaret Archibald: and a family of eight children were born to the couple - Andrew, Alexander, James, John, Christa, Robert, Barbara, and Isabella.

Obituary Collection of Kitty Oman, Delaware County, NYGenWeb Site, Andes Recorder - Oct 4, 1917 - Mrs Andrew Anderson passed away at her home in Andes Village early on the morning of October 1, at the age of nearly 75 years. She had been confined for some months and the nature of her trouble was not fully understood. Her maiden name was Margaret Liddle and she was born on Coulter Brook, Bovina, November 18, 1842 being a daughter of Allex Liddle and Bina McDonald. She was married to Andrew Anderson April 4, 1866 and for many years lived on Dingle Hill turning over their farm to their son a few years ago and coming to the village. Besides the husband she leaves three sons and four daughters, viz: James Anderson, Colfax, Washington; Alex Anderson & Mrs. Thomas D. Middlemast in Delhi, Mrs. E.E. Hastings at Saranac Lake, Marvin Anderson & Mrs Thoomas Tuttle in Andes, Mrs. Fred Oliver, Binghampton, Five brothers: Thomas, Henry Liddle, Colfax, Washington, William Liddle, Andes, David and James L. of Bovina. Funeral held Thursday and interred in the lower cemetary.

32. Obituary Collection of Kitty Oman, Delaware County, NYGenWeb Site, Andes Recorder - 20 May 1932 - James A. Anderson died at Colfax, Washington May 6. He was the oldest son of Andrew and Margaret (Liddle) Anderson and was born inAndes 65 years ago. Thirty one years ago he went to Colfax and had never been back. He was a breeder of thorobred stock. Surviving him is his wife who was Anna Dodds, of Delhi; also two brothers and two sisters, viz: Alex Anderson, Dehli; Marvin Anderson and Mrs. Thomas Tuttle in Andes, and Mrs. Fred Oliver in Binghampton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Full Gospel Assembly at 2 p.m. with the Rev. H.W. Crowder officiating. Burial will be in the Colfax Cementery. She was born on a farm near Colfax and had lived all her life in the Glenwood district between here and Garfield. She was a member of the Evangelical Unied Brethern church and the North and South Palouse Graange. She is survived by one daughter, Olive at home; Three sons, Newlee, Grand Coulee, Wash.; Harold, Garfield and Ted, Wallace, Idaho; two brothers, Ray Hammer, Tacoma and Alva A. Hammer, Muskogee, Okla. six grandchjildren and three great grandchildren.
