The William A. Liddle Family Home Page

A desendant of Thomas Liddle, born in Scotland. His grandson was Thomas J. Liddle born in Delaware County New York August 7, 1841. He served in the 144th New York volunteers and came west to Washington State after being discharged. Thomas married Martha Starr from Waitsburg, Washington in 1870 and they settled in Colfax, Whitman County, Washington. They had five children, one of them being my grandfather.
I am also a decendant of John Hammer from Germany, John Shine, born in Ireland and John Moore born in Ohio October 1, 1838.

The information on these pages has been gathered from many sources that I have not yet fully verified myself and therefore might contain wrong data. I would like any information to help fill in the many blanks in my family history or to correct that which may be in error. I will gladly share my information and sources with others.
