We have a Donner/Hastings family Bible. It lists family names and we are trying to find more information about them. The main region seems to be in Illinois. It seems that this Bible is the original property of Greenberry B. Donner who was born August 2, 1822. We do not know where he was born. He married Mary Scantling on April 19, 1846 in Menard County, Illinois.

The names of their children listed in the Bible are William S. Donner born January 28, 1847. Johnothan C. Donner born July 25, 1848. Albert G. Donner born July 23, 1850. Hannah E. Donner born April 26, 1852. Nancy L. Donner born September 10, 1854. Joseph L. Donner born December 2, 1856. Armilda Pink Donner born January 2, 1859 in Illinois. Sterlin Donner born February 11, 1861.

Armilda Pink Donner married Joseph H. Hastings as her second husband. One of their children was Minnie Mae Hastings who was born November 16, 1895 in Gibson City, Illinois and she died January 24, 1955 in Los Angeles, Ca. Minnie Mae married Howard Glen Lighty. He is the grandfather of Michael Lighty. We have not been able to find out anything about his birthdate or place of birth or parents.
