From the Mobile Press Rigister, 19 December 1945. Mr. and Mrs. John A. Collins of Mobile, Ala. recently celebrated their sixty-first anniversary. The couple, former residents of Ararat, Choctaw Coubty, Ala., were married there December 2,1884 and moved to Mobile in 1903. They have three children living in Mobile, Mrs. T. J. Pryor, Mrs Daniel Webster and John A. Collins Jr. A third daughter Mrs. Lee Fuller, resides in LaGrange, Georgia. Mr. and Mrs. Collins have 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. (J.A. Collins 1863-1946, nee. Narcissus Alonia Brantley 1863-1952). My Mothers parents, and my Grandfather & Grandmother.

This is a picture of the compiler of this site, Elsie Sarah Webster - Lilburn. I'm holding the Bible of; Reuben Collins and Monica Duren. This Bible was printed in 1676, in London, England and has been passed down and is in the possession of their direct decendants. Printed on one of the pages it reads;
"Newly translated out of the orignal Greek: with the former translations compared and revised -
