This is where I've got so far, the death dates have been confirmed from death certificates: Four (possibly five) children of Hugh & Rebecca (nee Edgeworth) Abercrombie (farmers in County Cavan, Kildallan Parish, Ireland) emigrated to New Zealand in the late 1800's. They were: Robert (arrived NZ 1875, died 7-Jan-1903, Christchurch NZ) John(arrived NZ 1874, died 20-Jan-1941, Auckland NZ) James(arrived NZ 1880, died 29-Nov-1920, Christchrch NZ) Sarah Jane (possibly came to NZ) Hugh(arrived NZ ????, died 9-Jun-1916, Christchurch NZ) Any assistance in linking these Abercrombies with their ancestors would be greatly appreciated. |
