(Kempt, Nova Scotia is on Rt. 8, southeast of Annapolis Royal. The 1881 census seems to indicate that it was
then in the County or District of "Hants." The modern map calls that district "Queens." Judging by the fact
that the head of the household in 1881 was John Harvie, with wife Anna B., I would guess that Clara's father, William Crosley/Crosley had died some time between 1877 - approx. birth of "Ethol" - and 1881, and that
widow Anna (UNKNOWN) Crosley had remarried Mr. Harvie.)
