My father ALFRED CHARLES LlEWELLYN LINGWOOD 1913-1975 was born in WOOLWICH S.E.LONDON he had 2 older sisters MARGARETTA LINGWOOD and NELLIE VIOLA LINGWOOD, and a half sister RUTH EVANS (RUBY)
My Grandfather ALFRED CHARLES LINGWOOD 1879-1948 was born in EAST STONEHOUSE PLYMOUTH DEVON he had a sister LYDIA FLORENCE LINGWOOD born 1881 also East Stonehouse. I believe there was another sister ELIZABETH LINGWOOD and a brother DUNCAN VICTOR LINGWOOD but as yet do not know their place or date of birth only that they were born after 1881
My Great Grandfather ALFRED LINGWOOD 1856-1918 born NORWICH NORFOLK he later became a Corporal in THE ROYAL MARINES LIGHT INFANTRY stationed at EAST STONEHOUSE PLYMOUTH DEVON, whilst here he married EMMA TRELAWNEY HUSBAND in 1878 (Twice once in the local Regitery office and then again 5 weeks later in the local Parish Church) He was retired from the Marines and went to live in his wifes Parish of birth St AUSTELL CORNWALL ( possibly with Emmas Mother ELIZABETH HUSBAND) ALFRED ended his years in CHARLTON S,E.LONDON I have no knowledge of any other siblings to ALFRED.
My G/G/Grandfather CHARLES LINGWOOD 1822-? born BRANDON SUFFOLK married LYDIA JESSUP in 1844 in Brandon. As well as ALFRED LINGWOOD they had a son CHRISTOPHER LINGWOOD born 1850 in IPSWICH SUFFOLK. There is believed to be at least 2 other siblings, CHARLES LINGWOOD born 1846 and possibly a WILLIAM LINGWOOD born circa 1844 (not proven)
My G/G/G/grandfather was CHRISTOPHER LINGWOOD 1799- ? born BRANDON SUFFOLK he married ELIZABETH WEBBER in 1821 in Brandon
From here I am unsure but believe my G/G/G/G/Grandfather was possibly WILLIAM LINGWOOD born 1761 who married a SARAH TURNER ( but this is unproven so far )
I am interested in Any connections or corrections
