The Gale brought 123 families of "Foreign Protestants" from Rotterdam, Holland to Halifax, Nova Scotia in June of 1751 including a 22 year old carpenter from Wurtemberg, Germany - Marcus Godfried Lassle (Leslie) - Elsie Leslie's 2nd great-grandfather.
