Charles Nicholas Lippold (son of Nicholas George Lippold and Elsie Viola Sloper)^{55, 56, 57} was born 09 November 1886 in Concordia, Cloud Co., KS⁵⁷, and died 28 January 1969 in Phoenix, Maricopa Co., AZ⁵⁷. He married Ethel Grace Overmyer on 23 August 1912 in Council Bluffs, IA^{58, 59}.

From the Arizona Republic newspaper:
Charles N. Lippold, of 7210 N. 16th Drive, a custodian more than 25 ye4s before re- tiring in 1952, died yesterday in Phoenix Baptist Hospital. He was 82.

Mr. Lippold, a member of the Methodist Church, was born in Concordia, Kan., and moved here in 1966 from Lawndale, Calif.

He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Grace V. King and Mrs. Ruth L. Townsend, both of Phoenix, Mrs. Dorothy L. Smock of Playa del Rey, Calif., and Mrs. Elsie M. Brown of Garden Grove, Calif.; two sons, Charles H. of Springfield, Mo., and Glen M. of Elk Creek, Neb.; a sister and brother out of state; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services and burial will be in Cypress, Calif., Grimshaw's Bethany Chapel announced.
