I am currently tracing my great grandfather John Lisee who I believe came from Quebec to Troy N.Y. in the 1870"s. From Troy N.Y. the family moved to Marine City, Mi.

My great uncle Nap Lisee was the designer and engineer responsible for making the many Miss America racing boats of the 1920's - 1930's as well as many other boat models for Gar Wood. His race boats won and retained the International Harmsworth Trophy for water speed racing every year the event was run.
