| I have been researching my family since 1999, and have been fortunate enough to find extensive information on my family origins. My search has been concentrated in Kentucky, Indiana, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Switzerland. The family originates in Ottenbach, Switzerland. I am currently searching for information of the Liter family's years in Maryland and Pennsylvania. The name has morphed from the original Leutert/Leuthardt to Leiter/Lyter/Liter. Other spellings are Lighter, Lyder, Leydert, Leeder, and Litter. Any research help would be much appreciated. |
