I am researching the descendents of Samuel Marksbury and in particular, Sophia Marksbury/berry, from Kentucky, born 1790. I am also looking for the parents of Linn Banks Marksbury and Isabella Marksbury, born 1822 and 1832 respectively. Both were from Kentucky. Linn and Isabella were my great-great grandparents who came to Daviess County, Missouri in 1861. I have not been able to pinpoint exactly who Sophia was married to. Some say Samuel, but there are so many Samuels in the Marksbury family, I am not sure which it might have been. Also, I have been trying to place parents with Linn and Isabella. It is thought that they were first cousins, with Sophia being Isabella's mother and Horatio Arasha Marksbury being Linn's father. Sophia and Horatio supposedly were brother and sister. Isabella may have been Sophia's daughter and Linn may be Horatio's son. Any help would be greatly appreciated.I am also researching the families of Daniel Fiscus from Ohio, Dotson/Seevers from Virginia/Ohio, Banks of Kentucky, Pollards of Kentucky and many other families tied to these surnames. I am willing to share any information that I have with those interested.
