This website includes the full-text of the hard-copy book I created for the July 2001 reunion of the Southern California Livernois. In addition, this website includes various other genealogical reports about Paul Benoist dit Nivernais, our first ancestor to come to North America.

EXCERPTED FROM THE INTRODUCTION OF "SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA LIVERNOIS":

"This genealogical report is a 'snapshot' of the descendents of Joseph James Livernois and Adelaide Pearl Arkin as of July 2001. Using several sources -- including the results of Denise Gualtieri's very hard work -- and my Family Tree Maker software, I've compiled over 5,400 bits of information about 1,300+ individuals who are related in some way to Paul Benoist dit Livernois, the first of our clan to come to North America. The book you are reading focuses almost exclusively on the descendants of Joe and Pearl, the first Livernois to settle in Southern California.

"This book is obviously a work-in-progress. It represents the best information made available to me as of early July 2001. Besides being made outdated by births, deaths, marriages, or even adoptions, you're going to find some information in this book that is simply wrong. While I've done my best to minimize these types of problems, I sincerely apologize if I've made mistakes which cause embarrassment of humiliation to anyone represented in the book.

"I have printed this book to coincide with the Southern California Livernois Family Reunion in July 2001."
