Linzey's death certificate that he died at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton (Montgomery County) Ohio.He died of a "massive pulmonary embolism" after an automobile accident a week earlier.The informant was his wife, Freda.It indicates that he was "self-employed" as a tree surgeon.

Linzey A Locke, age 63, of R. R. 1, Lewisburg, passed away Saturday, Nov 30, at Good Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness.He was born in Hocking County.A retired self-employed tree surgeon, member of the Redman Lodge No 174, Athens, OH. He is survived by his wife Freda B; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Ackins, London; Mrs. Linda Dingeldein, Stoddard, Wisc.; Rose White of Dayton, Tenn; two sons Raymond E Roupe, Sandston, VA and Max Locke, R. R. 1 Eaton; 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Roger & Gilbert Funeral Home, Dunkel Chapel in Brookville, with burial in Beech Grove Cemetery, Pomeroy, OH.

NELSONVILLE - Fred Lock, 64, Buchtel, died at Mount St. Mary Hospital Thursday afternoon shortly after admission.Born in Hocking County, he was the son of Arch Lock of Buchtel and the late Sarah Lock.He was a retired coal miner.
Besides his father, he is survived by his wife Grace, a daughter Mrs. Shirley Crane of Buchtel; two sisters, Mrs. Forest Jones, Nelsonville, Route 1 and Mrs. Margaret Patton, Nelsonville; and eight grand-children.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Johnson Funeral Home, the Rev. Roy Gillian officating.Burial will be at the Whitmore Cemetery in Buchtel.Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.

NELSONVILLE - Grace Mohney Lock, 68, of Nelsonville, Route 1 (Buchtel) died early today in Lancaster-Fairfield Hospital, after an extended illness.
Born in Jobs, she was the daughter of the late James and Alice Swyers Mohney.She was a member of the Buchtel United Methodist Churh.Her husband, Fred died in November of 1996.She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Shirley) Crane, Buchtel; a brother, Don Mohney, Jobs; a sister Myrtle Tully, Toledo; four grand-children and two great-grand-children.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Charles, Kenneth, Inal and two in infancy and a sister, Mrs. Forest Hahn.
Services will be Thursday, 1 p.m. in the Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Bookman officiating.Burial will be in Whitmore Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m Wednesday.The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Nelsonville - Harry Locke, 157 Edwards St. died early Saturday morning at University Hospital, Columbus, where he had been taken Friday night for treatment. He had been admitted to Mount St. Mary Hospital Thursday.He was a former employee of the Sylvania Electric Products and had worked in area coal mines.He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Born in Nelsonville, he was a son of the late Elmer and Kate Locke.He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Harriet Juniper and Mrs. Sally Dishong, Nelsonville; Mrs. Mary Kathryn Connell, new Albany; a sister Mrs. Francis Guess, Nelsonville; three brothers, Ervin L, Carl and Harold, all of Nelsonville; a stepmother Mrs. Gertrude Locke, Nelsonville; 10 grand-children and one great-grandchild.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Grace, and a daughter, Helen Woody.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 P.M. in Warren Funeral Home, with burial in New Marshfield Cemetery.The Rev. Roy Ballard will officiate.Friends may call after noon Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Grace Lock, 6, 157 St. John Street died Saturday night in an Athens hospital after an illness for 3 years.Born in Athens County, Mrs. Lock was a daughter of the late Abner and Zietha Hunter Groce. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband Harry, three daughters, Mrs. Sally Dishong and Mrs. Harriet Juniper, both of Nelsonville and Mrs. Kathryn Connell, Reynoldsburg; a brother Pearl Groce, Nelsonville; and 10 grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Helen Woody.
Services were conducted at 1 P.M. Tuesday, at the Johnson Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles Grahan.Burial at the new Marshfield Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Ida Sparks Locke; two daughters, Mrs. Dick (Margeurite) Hall of Nelsonville and Mrs. Robert (Patty) Pack of Orville; brother Harold and sister Frances Guess, both of Nelsonville; four grand-children and three great-grand-children.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Harry and Carl Locke.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Johnson-Souers Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Ditto officiating.Burial will in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin (Sloppy) on Jan 3, 1984;grandson, Jeff Hall; three brothers. William, Charles and Henry Sparks; and a sister, Goldie Hogan.
