The Lock Family Tree Home Page

This Web Site is established in memory of my parents Howard James Lock and Glorianna Helen Beaver, to my sister Denise Anne (Clemens) Lock and to my wife's parents, Anna Cortesi and Robert Telfer. It is intended to give the Lock/Telfer family a point of reference in the global community.
Surnames being actively researched are LOCK(E), TELFER, CORTESI, MAHAFFEY, WELLS, McKENZIE and BEAVER.

While the Lock/Locke family has many other researchers, the Telfer and MacKenzie family from Scotland and living in NY, the Wells/Welz family from Germany and living in NY, the Cortesi and Preiato families Italy and living in New York, the Mahaffey family from Pennsylvania and Ohio and the Beaver family from Canada have not. Anyone able to make a contribution (particulalry to the MAHAFFEY, TELFER, WELLS, CORTESI AND MACKENZIE) to the informaton found in this family history will be welcomed.

  This photo is of Cosmo (1878-1962) and Rosa (Preiato) Cortesi (1887-1960) at their 50th wedding aniversary.
• William Lock (1832-1927) & his son James's family (157 KB)
  This photo was taken on Christmas Day, 1922 at the home of his son James (1861-1949) and Sophia (Murphy) Locke (1867-1936) house. William is sitting with a beard, Sophia's dad, Alexander Murphy (1847-1928), is sitting to his left and Mont (1892-1967) is in upper right corner. The others are James and Sophia's other children.

  This is the a picture of Howard (1923-1964) and Glorianna (Beaver) Lock. It was taken after World War II in about 1947.
• Robert Telfer (1846-1933) and family (119 KB)
  This picture was taken at Glen Spey, New York. It the back row is George, Lois (Alexander's wife), Elizabeth (George's wife), Alexander and Robert. The two small children are Betty and Mary Telfer (Alexander and Lois's children.)
