The Strangers in the Box Come, look with me inside this drawer, In this box I've often seen. At the pictures, black and white, Faces proud, still and serene. I wish I knew the people These strangers in the box. Their names and all their memories, Are lost among the socks. I wonder what their lives were like, How did they spend their days. What about their special times, I'll never know their ways. If only someone had taken time To tell who, what and when. Those faces of my heritage Would come to life again. Could this become the fate of the pictures we take today? The facesand the memories Someday to be tossed away. Make time to save your pictures. Seize the opportunity when it knocks. Or someday you and yours could be The strangers in the box. © 1997 by Pamela A. Harazim ************** Everyday there is new information being added to this family tree. If you have any information, pictures or just questions regarding the material within this family page please contact me. It is very important that this information is accurate and as complete as can be. My only hope is that this page is able to be a resource to everyone who finds this of interest. I do have some information on some of these families that, because of space limitation, is not able to be included at this time. Please check with me if there is information that you would like to know more about. I may have the information to share with you. This is the efforts of many of my family members who have contributed. Thank you to each and everyone of you!!!! | Wilbert,/Rieflin, Garland/Burkhartzmeyer, Gibbs/Lockner Updated May 28, 2007 |
