- David Tillyer Guthrie - Civil War Soldier 1862 (196 KB)
David Tillyer Guthrie was born in 1841 at the Guthrie homestead in Vernon Township, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. He served in the American Civil War as a private in the Wisconsin Infantry, Union Army; was wounded at the Battle of Chicamauga, and died October 6, 1863. He is probably buried with other unidentified soldiers at the National Cemetery, Chattanooga, TN.

After many years as a foreman at Harnischfeger in Milwaukee, Don Loeser accepted a new job as West Coast sales representative for the Tool Stel Gear and Pinion Co. He moved his wife and 6 kids to Walnut Creek, California, and 3 years later was named "Salesman of the Year" in a ceremony in Cincinnati, Ohio.

17 year old Jillian Loeser proudly wears her crown as Princess of the 2002 Snowmobile Derby in Eagle River, Wisconsin. The daughter of Jody and Donald J. Loeser II is a junior in high school where she earns excellent grade reports, plays on the soccer team, and at home has 7 brothers and sisters. Congratulations to Jillian and her proud parents on her wonderful achievements!
