| I am researching the LOGAN family from Boone County, MO. Jacob Logan(born Abt 1856) and his brother Jim Ed(born Abt 1866) were African-Americans born to slaves of John Woolfolk, but I don't know their names. "Jake" and "Jim Ed" were said to have other siblings(possibly John, Dixon, George, and Clara), but I haven't been able to find any documents to verify these claims. Jake married Fannie Divers and they had 3 daughters: Lillian Frances, Pearl, and Essie Mae and 6 sons: Wesley, Roy R., Eugene Harrison, William Dudd, Perry Jake, and Wiseman H. Jim Ed married Mattie Doyle and they had 9 daughters: Nannie R., Susie Bell, Edna Leona, Willa R., Erma Clementine, Florence M., Alice L., Thelma, and Alma Lucille and 3 sons: Arthur, Franklin, and James Doyle Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have. |
