LOGAN Links

Linking the descendants of John and Deborah (Steele) Logan whocame to America in 1798 along with John's sisters Ann (who married John McIlwain) and Nancy (who married George Thomas). John and family along with Ann and family settled in the Scotch-Irish settlement of Abbeville, South Carolina. Their descendants scattered across the states of Georgia, Mississippi, Ohio, and Indiana. My primary research has been in Indiana where descendants went westward to Kansas, Iowa, California. Allied family names are: Steele, McIlwain, Graham, Baker, Guy, Linde, Mann, Smith, Clendenning. I am preparing a manuscript about this Logan family and am willing to exchange any information on Logan and allied families.I'll also search my records for other Logan families that I have come across in my searches.
