* The Will Logan Family Home Page*

Updated September 6, 2000

I wish to research my ancestors on my father's ( Scottish) sideand am interested in anyone I can find beyond my grandfather,
William Logan who was born in 1890 at Aberdeen and died in 1978 at Grantown-in-Spey. I am not aware of any non-Scottish links and
assume that these will be confined to the Scottish highlands.

As a seperate interest I am also seeking find out anything concerning the russian family, Ouzhumedshi-Gritzevitch-Vashkevitch. An acquaintance belongs to
this family and her father was an aide-de-camp to Tsar Nicholas II and, principally to his brother Mikhail. The Tsar himself was her godfather and she fled Russia in 1930. Her parents and 46 other relatives were exterminated during Lenin and Stalins' purges. The family was noble and members of the Imperial Guard. I have a reasonable amount of first-hand information from my acquaintance but would like to fill in the background on her father's family.
Any information would be most gratefully received.
