According to Bobby Moore:About 2 weeks before Rebecca's marriage to Charles Duncan, a bond was issued for her marriage to John S. Parrish, with Coleman Duncan's consent. (presumably the older Coleman Duncan, one of two brothers who emigrated to KY) She had come to Kentucky as Coleman Coleman's ward.She was his niece, daughter of Coleman and Henry's brother George and Elizabeth Lyne.Both Coleman and Henry gave consent for Rebecca to marry her cousin Charles.Wonder what happened in those two weeks?
