The Lombardi Family

The Lombardi name comes from a state in Italy, Lombardi, which was over-run by the Huns in the 14th Century. Those who fled the area and emigrated south settled in various parts of Italy. We have traced our Family back to Coli Vol Turna, Compobasso, Abruzzi. Italy.
Tommasso and Orsollela were both born on or about 1888. Thomas & Ursula Lombardi sailed on the Duca D'Aosta from Naples, Italy on March 8, 1912, at the age of 22 accompanied by Vincent age 28 months (born January 1910) and 5 months pregnant with Filomena (Florence)born in July 1912. There were 9 children born during the periods 1914 and 1931...8 survived.
