Humphreys Co., Tn, and died April 24, 1982 in Union City, Obion Co., Tn. She married John Berlin Whitten on December 24, 1916 in Bascum Church, Humphreys Co., Tn., son of Solon Lee Curtis Whitten and Mary Angeline Fowler.

She had a twin brother that died Dec 28, 1905, Humphreys Co., Tn. Apparently she and her twin brother were named for their maternal grandparents James Frank Summers and Tennessee Porter Outlaw Summers.

Before 1927 they moved to R. R. Branford, West Tn. They then moved to China Grove out from Rutherford, Tn. in West Tn.
John went to Pontiac Michigan to work a couple years before the rest of the family, They stayed in Tennessee until abt. 1945 after Kathaleen graduated High School.
