Notes for Vonnie F Whitten: Vonnie and Harry visited Tennessee in October of 2002. It was the first time since my mother and her sister Myrtle passed away. Vonnie, my sister Patricia and I took a weekend trip to Wayne Co., Tn and Florence Al. to visit with our Whitten family. An uncle, Lloyd Whitten, gave us a tour of the places our ancesters lived and were buried. Probably because of the timing of events in our lives, this was the first opportunity I have had to get to know Vonnie on a more personal level. She is a very loving and caring person, and I am forever grateful for the time we spent getting to know our family and each other. I feel I have discovered a new friend.
