Notes for Moses Wheat: The Bedford Bulletin 8/27/1986 pg 7. Wheats' were English and they came from Maryland, however, we have not found proof that they camd directly from England to Maryland. they could have migrated from Concord, Mass where Moses Wheat and his Brother Joshua Wheat arrived in 1635. Joshua Wheat returned to England after a short time, and Moses Wheat remained and raised a large family.
Note: Settled in Concord Ma. in 1635, one of the first 15 settlers. Moses and his brother Joshua were granted land on the Bay Road (Lexington Rd) "The Staples Place"
